The Support Center
Serving the State’s Community Development Credit Unions
since in 1991, The Support Center is the nation’s first statewide intermediary devoted to community development credit unions (CDCUs), offering technical assistance, training, and financial assistance to a growing industry. Access to intermediary services has proven to be a catalyst for North Carolina’s CDCUs, which provide fair and affordable small business, mortgage, rehab and personal loans to stimulate economic development in underserved communities. The Support Center’s affiliated credit unions serve more than 73,400 across North Carolina. To download our brochure, click here.
Mission

Accomplishments
The Support Center has remained committed to its mission to work with its affiliate community development credit unions (CDCUs) to relieve poverty, combat community deterioration, create jobs and build homeownership among low-moderate income families throughout the state.
